What is Playgroup with a Purpose?
We are a group of Moms who believe that we can make a difference in the world. We focus on children's charities and causes and hope to instill a heart for giving in our own children.
How it works:
Our goal is to have moms and kids getting together each month for a playgroup, and to that group they will bring donations for whatever charity/cause we are collecting for that month. We also want to try and find volunteer opportunities for moms to participate in with their kids - hoping to instill in our children a heart for giving their time for others.
We know we aren't going to be making a HUGE difference, but we believe that small steps lead to bigger things.

Hi. A mom in my mom's group posted a link to your blog on our message board. I love the idea of a "playgroup with a purpose" and would love to get involved if you are taking more members. I would love to learn more!
